Choosing the Right Modeling Approach
Evaluating a Bayesian alternative showed that a more complex model is not always necessary when a simpler approach directly addresses the research question.
I study the computational and mechanistic principles underlying human cognition, with a focus on how cognitive systems represent, learn, and adapt. My research combines behavioral data, computational modeling, and Bayesian methods to investigate cognitive processes, particularly in memory and learning.
