This page provides an overview of my academic background, research trajectory, and long-term research interests.
I am a computational cognitive science researcher with a background in psychology. I am interested in understanding the mechanisms underlying human cognition and using computational models to develop and evaluate explanations of cognitive behavior.
My primary interests include memory, particularly working memory, learning, and decision-making. I am especially interested in how cognitive systems represent information, learn from experience, and adapt their behavior over time. I am also interested in language and cognition, particularly in how language interacts with memory and learning, and how these processes may influence one another.
My research approach combines behavioral data analysis, statistical inference, Bayesian methods, and computational modeling. I am particularly interested in mechanistic approaches that connect formal models with observable behavior and help distinguish between competing explanations of cognitive processes.
I place strong emphasis on reproducibility, methodological transparency, and open science, aiming to make research processes transparent and analytical decisions traceable from data through analysis, evaluation, and reporting.
Ultimately, I hope to understand how interacting cognitive mechanisms shape complex human behavior.
